Fazenda protege 800 mil pessoas que renegociaram dívidas bloqueando apostas online

Em uma importante medida de proteção social e financeira, o governo federal, por meio do Ministério da Fazenda, implementou o bloqueio ao acesso de plataformas de apostas online para cerca de 800 mil pessoas que renegociaram suas dívidas. A iniciativa, coordenada pela Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas (SPA), visa resguardar a economia das famílias e evitar o superendividamento da população.

A restrição alcança diretamente 794.181 cidadãos que readequaram seus débitos e outros 33.123 estudantes beneficiados pelo Fundo de Financiamento Estudantil (Fies). Somando essa ação à proteção de 3 milhões de beneficiários do Bolsa Família e do Benefício de Prestação Continuada (BPC) — em cumprimento a decisão do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) —, além dos pedidos de autoexclusão, o governo federal já resguarda cerca de 10% do público ativo cadastrado no Sistema de Gestão de Apostas (Sigap).

A atuação do Estado também prioriza a saúde pública e o bem-estar social. A Plataforma Centralizada de Autoexclusão, desenvolvida pela SPA, já registrou mais de 1,2 milhão de pedidos voluntários de bloqueio, sendo que 66,95% dos usuários solicitaram o veto por tempo indeterminado. O principal motivo apontado foi a perda de controle sobre o jogo e o impacto na saúde mental, que responde por 35,93% dos casos.

Como parte dessa rede de apoio e conscientização, o Ministério da Fazenda disponibiliza cursos gratuitos sobre educação financeira e vulnerabilidade, além de um autoteste de saúde mental conectado diretamente aos pontos de atendimento do Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), garantindo acolhimento integral aos cidadãos.
