Um trágico acidente na rodovia Fernão Dias (BR-381), na altura de Vargem, no interior paulista, mobilizou prontamente as forças de segurança e regulação do governo federal nesta terça-feira (18). A queda de uma passarela, provocada pelo forte impacto de um caminhão que trafegava no sentido capital, atingiu um automóvel na pista oposta, resultando na morte de duas pessoas e deixando uma terceira em estado grave.

O socorro foi imediato, contando com a atuação rápida do Serviço de Atendimento Móvel de Urgência (Samu) e o suporte da Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) no isolamento da área. Sob a diretriz de priorizar a vida e a segurança dos usuários, a Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (ANTT) passou a monitorar de perto as ações da concessionária responsável pelo trecho, exigindo agilidade na prestação de socorro e na desobstrução das pistas.

Em nota oficial, a ANTT lamentou profundamente as perdas e manifestou solidariedade aos familiares das vítimas. A agência reguladora garantiu que acompanhará rigorosamente a apuração das causas do acidente, além de verificar as condições da infraestrutura concedida. No local, guindastes trabalham na remoção das vigas para restabelecer o tráfego com total segurança.

Para garantir a mobilidade e minimizar os transtornos, foi estruturada uma rota alternativa no km 10 da BR-381, direcionando o fluxo do sentido Belo Horizonte por vias municipais e estaduais que passam por Socorro (SP) e Lindoia (SP), com retorno à rodovia em Extrema (MG). As autoridades federais recomendam atenção redobrada à sinalização e aos limites de velocidade no desvio.
