Governo Lula atua para coibir publicidade abusiva de Bets na Copa

O governo federal intensificou a fiscalização sobre a publicidade de casas de apostas, respondendo à preocupação pública com a superexposição do tema durante as transmissões da Copa do Mundo. Em uma ação coordenada, o Ministério da Fazenda, o Ministério da Justiça e parlamentares do PT se mobilizam para estabelecer regras mais rígidas e proteger os consumidores de práticas consideradas abusivas.

A iniciativa mais avançada parte do Ministério da Fazenda, que prepara uma nova regulamentação para limitar os anúncios. Segundo o secretário-executivo Dario Durigan, a intenção é aplicar as restrições já na fase eliminatória do torneio. A proposta aproxima a publicidade das bets às regras de produtos de risco, exigindo mensagens de advertência sobre prejuízos financeiros e riscos à saúde associados ao vício em jogos.

Em outra frente, o Ministério da Justiça, por meio da Secretaria Nacional do Consumidor, abriu uma investigação para apurar se a publicidade veiculada em transmissões, como as da CazéTV, viola o Código de Defesa do Consumidor. O foco são os formatos integrados à programação, nos quais comentaristas incentivam apostas em tempo real, o que pode configurar um estímulo ao consumo impulsivo e irresponsável.

A mobilização também chegou ao Judiciário. Os deputados federais Pedro Uczai (PT-SC) e Alencar Santana (PT-SP) protocolaram uma ação popular para proibir qualquer tipo de propaganda de apostas durante eventos esportivos ao vivo. Os parlamentares argumentam que a publicidade se integrou à narrativa das transmissões, normalizando a prática e expondo, principalmente, o público jovem a riscos.

A pressão do governo e da sociedade já surte efeito. A CazéTV informou que adotará um formato de publicidade mais tradicional e conservador, deixando de citar cotações de apostas ao vivo durante as partidas. A empresa afirmou que seguirá trabalhando apenas com operadoras autorizadas e em conformidade com as diretrizes do jogo responsável.
